SOSBOYS project branding
Digital graphics, product mock-ups, stickers

My name is Noah Cramer and I am a graphic designer. Throughout my whole life, I have always known that I wanted to be an artist or a designer. After exploring many different mediums of art, it only made sense to me that the natural progression of my life would be to continue studying the things that I loved to do for as long as I can remember.

As a graphic designer, I feel that design is all about working with different mediums and combining them together to create something new that communicates an idea to the viewer that is more than just the sum of its parts. When I work on design projects, the process of being visually creative across multiple mediums is something that just makes sense to me-- and it always has made sense for as long as I can remember.

The aspect of design that resonates with me the most however, is the collaborative nature. While I do love creating visual work to express my own needs and emotions, I am absolutely in love with the process of helping others express their ideas through visual means. Whether that means working on a collaborative project with other people, or doing creative work for other people-- I am always down to be a part of it.

My collaborative branding endeavor, project “SOSBOYS”-- is something that came about through the long lasting relationship between a very close knit group of friends. It represents the ideas and emotions that are relevant to us the most-- and it’s something that I want to share with the world by creating designs that resonate with other people even outside of my close friends-- so that it can extend itself to be a part of something greater. I want to express our values with my visual creativity and I want them to live and be passed on amongst other people that can relate.

This branding project started out with coming up with a logo and a consistent set of brand imagery that is relevant to the culture in which the idea spawned from (Japanese/import car culture). I designed stickers, shirts, and merch for my imagery to be displayed on. The ideas that my brand represents revolve around developing a sense of positivity and friendship for people that use the car community as a form of escapism to cope with whatever they may be dealing with in life. These ideas will live on in the form of stickers that people will put on their car windows or shirts that they will wear, and I am very proud to have come up with such an idea.
