Type tells stories. Every component of a character or word, including its shape, form, and color, all correspond to communicate and express an associated feeling/tone. With this project I emphasized those feelings by illustrating a series of lettering pieces that stands out and draws the attention of a person. It is the reason why the entire project is composed of phrases and elements that calls on a person to speak out, to be loud, to be bold, etc. Furthermore, this project reminds me to be the kind of designer I aim for, and of the type of work I want to create. It is my own call to action to communicate my ideas and feelings in an expressive and prominent fashion.
