Patterns and repetition in iteration
Poster, wallpaper
Informed by Postmodern ideals of showing more than the finished product this project aims to visualize the iterative process through posters and wallpaper. Iteration is a series of steps taken through design to make a more refined finished product. By making something then critiquing and remaking it multiple times the final version is better than if you had only made the artifact only once. The way this has been visualized is through patterning showing one object as it evolves or repeats through the plane to convey the idea of how long this can take and how it can evolve over time. I have focused on the first two letters of the alphabet as the vehicles for this process and a wallpaper representing the time this process can take.
